About Kay

“My purpose is to support and guide people back to feeling ‘whole’, because everybody deserves to feel good. I truly believe we should be able to deal and overcome our health struggles rather than living with them”.

Like many, I have carried a fair share of challenges and labels over the last 18 years including multiple autoimmune conditions including celiac disease, lupus APS and SLE, epilepsy, Sjogren’s, infertility, vitiligo and psoriatic arthritis.

Whilst I received some great support in getting a diagnosis for these symptoms and medication to combat my ailments, it left me feeling just a shadow of my former self.

Seeking to improve the side effects from both the medications and health conditions, I began my journey by trying to understand the diagnoses and labels I had been given. The more I read, the more I unravelled. My complications were not a matter of bad luck or coincidence; they were inherently connected to my lifestyle and poor eating patterns, eventually transpiring to be interlinked with my autoimmune complexities. Desperate for answers and wanting to feel some control over my symptoms, I turned to self help and held accountability for the choices I made.  Adapting to healthier food choices and prioritising my health needs came with practice and patience, however when I gained back a quality of life, there was no reason for me to feel like I was denied of anything. Applying the philosophy of food as medicine, I regained control of my life. This newfound focus on food lifted my brain fog, reduced the seizures, eased the pain and stiffness in my joints, and boosted my energy levels. Above all, I was Kay again and my autoimmunities remain in remission.

This new passion for healthy living led to a burning desire to learn more. How and why did my new way of eating have such a profound impact on both my physiological and psychological wellbeing? I wanted answers and soon enrolled to study at the London College of Naturopathic Nutrition (CNM).

Armed with clinical practice and a deep knowledge of nutritional science, I launched Inspire Nutrition to help others through their health battles. Keeping healthy through food is now my “medicine and prescription” to stay well and most importantly, happy.

If you’ve ever felt less than yourself, I want to give you hope and inspiration that we can turn things around for you too.

I feel privileged to be a part of this field and for the opportunity to help you rediscover your vitality towards your health. Please don’t suffer in silence. You deserve to enjoy good health!

Love and light
